Roll Tender
Job Summary: Load rolls of papers onto web offset press.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Check work order to verify stock matched the order.
- Prepare rolls and load onto Press
- Work as directed by 1st pressman
- Report any problem to 1st pressman.
- Perform maintenance by following 1st pressman instructions.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 30+ pounds
- Fill out daily paper consumption reports
- Always clean up after each and every job and before shift ends.
- Attendance and punctuality is extremely important
- Basic knowledge of math is necessary
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: Training is available. Experience is a plus!
Shift: Day or Night (Flexibility required)
Press Jogger
Job Summary: The Jogger assists 1st or 2nd Pressman in running a job.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Remove, jog, and stack printed material onto pallets/skids
- Transport materials to designated work site using a forklift.
- Complete daily production reports
- Work as directed by 1st and 2nd pressman
- Report any problem to 1st pressman
- Perform maintenance by following 1st pressman instructions
- Always clean up after each and every job and before shift ends
- Basic knowledge of math
